Jews and Jesus

Around the same time as Easter, Jews celebrate Passover which commemorates the freedom of the ancient Israelites from slavery in Egypt.

Jesus and his followers were Jews, and the Last Supper (which Jesus held with his disciples before being crucified) is traditionally understood as having been a Passover meal.

But apart from that historical connection, does Easter have any deeper meaning in Judaism?
