Discrimination against an Israeli tourist allegedly turned away by a Cairns business is “extremely disturbing”, Queensland’s Multicultural Affairs Minister Grace Grace says.
Cold Steel Piercing in Cairns North has been under fire in recent days after allegedly turning a customer away because they were Israeli.
Mohr Wenger posted on her Facebook page about the apparent incident, prompting a backlash of negative reviews against the business.
Ms Grace said she was concerned that an Israeli tourist was reportedly refused service.
