Teacher at prestigious private school on child porn charges after upskirting discovery

A teacher at Mount Scopus Memorial College has been charged with making and possessing child pornography after his previous employer, Bialik College, allegedly uncovered disturbing inappropriate images on the hard drive of his former laptop.

Victoria Police confirmed that a 52-year-old Noble Park man has been charged on Thursday “following an investigation into child pornography and upskirting incidents at an eastern suburbs school. It is alleged the incidents took place between 2014 and 2017.”

In a letter to parents, Mount Scopus said the man had already been suspended. The Victorian Institute of Teaching has also suspended him.
