Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has enforced a new crackdown on journalists in the occupied West Bank.

Five Palestinian reporters have been arrested and detained in the past week, with four others questioned by security forces.

Human rights advocates says it’s part of a pattern of increasing authoritarian rule by the President.
