US embassy move to Jerusalem provokes Palestinian outrage

The diplomatic status of Jerusalem is one of the world’s most complicated issues.
The US president Donald Trump is expected to announce later today that the US will push ahead with plans to relocate its embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, and already Arab leaders are furious.
Israel occupied East Jerusalem during the 1967 war and regards the entire city as its “indivisible” capital, while Palestinians claim East Jerusalem as their capital.
