Fears Trump’s stance on Jerusalem could result in bloodshed

President Trump’s decision to recognise Jerusalem as Israel’s capital has met with a wave of disapproval across the globe.

Leaders from within the Muslim world and wider international community warned violence and bloodshed may result.

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas says the decision spells the end of any U.S role brokering peace.
