Shimon Peres, Israel’s former president and prime minister, was hospitalised outside Tel Aviv after suffering a stroke.
Peres’ doctors sedated and intubated him to facilitate treatment, his office said in an emailed statement Tuesday night. He will undergo a CT scan to provide an updated assessment of his situation, the message said.
