Last Thursday an expert panel was convened at a public Q&A event titled ‘Social Justice; Israel and Palestine’ that took place at the Wheeler Centre in the centre of Melbourne. Dr Bernie Power (lecturer in Islamic studies) chaired the panel, comprising Bishop George Browning (Australia Palestine Advocacy Network president), Ron Jontof-Hutter (psychologist & author), Yousef Alreemawi (Palestinian activist) and Nadia Ghaly (Egyptian journalist).
