Western Sydney Cinema staff and movie goers have been left terrified, after a group of young men stormed into the theatre screaming ‘Allahu Akbar’.
Terrified patrons fled the cinema mid-movie in a state of sheer panic, after the men entered Hoyts Cinema at Westpoint Shopping Centre in Blacktown around 8pm on Sunday.
The sickening prank forced people in two different sessions to fear for their lives amid the chaos.
It was reported that initially one man entered the cinema and yelled out the phrase, before returning with other men and screaming the words again.
The phrase is even scarier in today’s current climate, as it has been uttered by Islamic Militants during terrorist attacks around the world.
“(Officers) have been told four men yelled comments within two cinemas at the complex, causing some concerned patrons to leave the building,” a spokeswoman said.
