Dennis Ross spoke on Faine’s Conversation Hour

Ambassador Dennis Ross is counselor and William Davidson Distinguished Fellow at The Washington Institute for Near East Policy. Prior to returning to the Institute in 2011, he served two years as special assistant to President Obama and National Security Council senior director for the Central Region, and a year as special advisor to Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton.

He appeared as a guest on Jon Faine’s Conversation Hour (July 3rd) together with Richard Walsh. Jon Faine mentioned the reason for the visit of Dennis Ross to Melbourne, which is to deliver the Gandel Oration on the topic Doomed to Succeed: Defeating anti-Semitism and Building Peace in the 21stCentury.

Not unexpected was the fact that Jon Faine never entered any discussion of the fact that Dennis Ross is hear ostensibly to deliver a talk about anti-semitism. In Jon Faine’s mind anti-semitism is not a subject that he cares about.
