A group of six school students from NSW will soon commemorate the Battle of Beersheba.
It’s 100 years since Australians on horseback stormed through Turkish defences to seize the strategic town, which is in modern day Israel.
The students have left on a pilgrimage where they’ll see a re-enactment of the charge of the 4th Light Horse brigade.
