DESCRIPTION:Delivered in partnership with the Jewish Museum of Australia\, 
 Antisemitism: What\, When &amp\; Why will explore the controversial topic 
 of antisemitism. This two-session short course will be an opportunity to l
 earn what antisemitism is\, when it began\, and how it has evolved over th
 e years into its current state.\n\nAssuming no prior knowledge\, this teac
 her learning opportunity covers a chronology of antisemitism and explores 
 the roles that ordinary citizens\, local / national law\, leaders and the 
 church have in implementing and promoting intolerant mindsets.\n\nExaminin
 g how the face of antisemitism has evolved over the years\, Paul Forgasz w
 ill explain its impact on propaganda\, violence\, population shifts and ul
 timately the Holocaust. Views on both sides of the spectrum will be refere
 nced and discussed in order to understand contemporary antisemitism as wel
 l as Islamic fundamentalism.\n\nBoth primary and secondary sources will be
  used\, allowing teachers to apply these rich learning materials in their
