Thousands of Germans have taken to Berlin streets for a Kippah protest against an anti-Semitic attack in the city.
The daytime assault on a young man wearing a Jewish skull-cap on April 15, drew outrage in the nation and sharp condemnation by Chancellor Angela Merkel.
The attack on the 21-year-old Arab Israeli – who said he wore it as a show of solidarity with his Jewish friends – was caught on video and went viral.
