Educators in Israel –not the politicians – are actively helping to bridge the divide between Jewish and Arab citizens through a new education model.
In an experiment in co-existence, a network of schools called Hand in Hand is leading the way in fostering co-operation between Jewish and Arab children.
Noa Yammer is the Jewish-Israeli engagement director at Hand in Hand schools and Shada Mansour is an Arab-Palestinian Hand in Hand community organiser and parent.
