The ABC regularly takes programs from the BBC World Service and re-transmits them on their radio network across Australia. Last week the ABC Radio News 1026 broadcast a piece of pro-Gaza propaganda produced by the BBC Middle East correspondent Tom Bateman that was aired on Saturday March 14th at around 6:35 pm.
Tom Bateman has a reputation of producing material that is pro-Palestinian and therefore anti-Israel. BBCWatch an Israel-based branch of CAMERA, the Committee for Accuracy in Middle East Reporting and Analysis,which is based in the US that monitors BBC coverage for accuracy and impartiality, has reported yet another transgression by the BBC and therefore our ABC is also guilt of being in breach yet again of its own code of practice by failing to abide by its principles and standards concerning accuracy and impartiality.
