The deal signed in Washington last month between Israel and two Arab states brings to four the number of Arab nations that have normalised diplomatic relations with Israel.
It was a triumph for Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and for US President Donald Trump, both of whom have pushed for Middle East agreements that don’t include the Palestinians.
