Kanye West banned from Twitter and Instagram accounts after sharing anti-Semitic posts which went viral

The famous US rapper has been suspended from two social media platforms after violating network policies.

US rapper Kanye West has been blocked from Twitter following a vile anti-Semitic rant on Saturday night, just after he was locked out of his Instagram account.

West, also known as “Ye”, took to twitter on Sunday saying: “I’m a bit sleepy tonight but when I wake up I’m going death con 3 On JEWISH PEOPLE”.

“The funny thing is I actually can’t be anti-Semitic because black people are actually Jew also.

“You guys have toyed with me and tried to black ball anyone whoever opposes your agenda.”

The tweet marked West’s first post on Twitter since November 2020, just after the last US presidential election.

Elon Musk, who is in the process of buying the social media network, greeted West back to the site before the ban saying: “Welcome back to Twitter, my friend!”

West was earlier locked out of Instagram on Friday after posting anti-Jewish remarks.

The 45-year-old shared a since-deleted screenshot of an iMessage exchange in which he accused Sean “Diddy” Combs of being controlled by Jews.

According to CNN, a Meta spokesperson said content from West’s Instagram account was deleted for violating the company’s policies and a restriction was placed on his account.

The owner of Instagram did not specify what was objectionable about the content or what kind of restriction was imposed – but screenshots confirm the post was another rant against Jewish people.
