Neo-Nazi group European Australian Movement slammed over racist flyers

A neo-Nazi group has distributed racist recruitment flyers on the Gold Coast, with a criminal expert warning the material was a “concern” for the community.

A neo-Nazi group has distributed recruitment flyers on the Gold Coast in a move slammed by residents as “disgusting” and “racist”.

A Southport man took to a Facebook community group on Sunday to share photos of “racist propaganda” he received in the mail from the European Australian Movement (EAM).

The racist material directed readers to join a “local network” and download the encrypted platform Telegram.

“Calling all white Australians – we are becoming a minority,” the flyer stated.

“Our mission is simple – the preservation and advancement of white people in Australia.

“We are building a a network of white Australians across every city, suburb and town who are against the systematic replacement and destruction of white Australians.”

Social media users denounced the material, with one describing it as “the stupidest thing I’ve ever read in my life”.

“That’s disgusting. This needs to be reported to authorities,” another said.

A woman said she saw a man putting the flyers in letterboxes at a Southport residential complex.

A spokesman for EAM confirmed the material had come from their group.

“If they say European Australian Movement on the flyers, then they are ours,” he said.
