Terrorist attacks on the Jewish community in Jerusalem on Holocaust Remembrance Day did not spark much “outrage” as the “irony” is lost on traditional media, Israel’s Special Envoy for Combating Anti-Semitism Noa Tishby says.
“The irony which did not skip any of the Jewish community seem to not have penetrated regular media anywhere – yes on Holocaust Remembrance Day, a terrorist attack,” Ms Tishby said.
“It seems like antisemitism is very much around and now it’s new and improved and has various new faces to it, including trying to murder Jews in Israel.”
