‘How can humans be this cruel?’: Sky News host Sharri Markson reduced to tears by ‘pure savagery’ of Hamas’ attacks on Israeli civilians

Sky News host Sharri Markson has been reduced to tears while explaining the “pure savagery” of Hamas’ attacks on Israeli civilians, with the elderly, women, children and even babies “dragged off, kidnapped, and held hostage”.

Sky News host Sharri Markson has been reduced to tears while discussing the “pure savagery” of Hamas’ attacks on Israeli civilians.

The Palestinian terrorist organisation that controls the Gaza Strip unleashed a surprise attack on Israel over the weekend, killing more than 700 people and taking 160 Israeli citizens hostage.

Markson used her editorial on Monday night to highlight the “untold horrors” that had been unleashed on “innocent families as they were at home on a Saturday morning.

“This is the darkest day for Jewish people in decades – it’s being called Israeli’s September 11,” the Walkley award-winning journalist said.

“This is a terrorist assault so incomprehensible, we are watching our screens, our phones with deep sadness at the depravity and inhumanity. It is pure savagery.

The Sky News host said that while much of the coverage would focus on “geopolitics and the big picture”, she wanted to spend the begging of her show focusing on the “actual people being tortured and brutalised”.

Markson explained how there were 160 Israeli citizens currently being held hostage Gaza, “in cages, in prisons, in unimaginable conditions imposed on them by barbarians who have no limits to their brutality.”
