As an Orthodox Jew who grew up learning the old testament I was never able to fully comprehend the biblical story of the 10 plagues, especially the second plague of frogs (Exodus 7:26) that God brought upon the Egyptians. That is until the article on frogs. Many of the commentaries on the Torah point out that the plague of frogs started from one single frog and the more the Egyptians would smite it, streams of frogs would be produced from its mouth until they covered the whole of Egypt. Your story showed that besides the 10 plagues being miraculous they were also embedded in nature as there are frogs that do indeed give birth from the mouth. Thank you for contextualising this biblical story for me.
