Remarkable line up of expert guests.
1 August, 2020 is 20 years to the day when the Palestinian Authority imposed the PLO curriculum on the UNRWA (UN Relief and Works Agency) school system in Judea, Samaria, Gaza and part of Jerusalem. Australia is UNRWA donor nation number 16, donating AUD$20 million.
AJA is convening an expose of UNRWA content and policies with three expert guests firom Jerusalem. After viewing a short film shot on location in UNRWA schools, the following guests will discuss UNRWA policies:
• Fleur Hassan-Nahoum – Deputy Mayor of Jerusalem, responsibility includes services to Arab communities and the Shuafat UNRWA Refugee Facility in Jerusalem
• Dr Arnon Groiss – PhD in Near East Studies, fluent in Arabic and oversees translation of UNRWA content
• David Bedein – investigative journalist, Director of the Center for Near East Policy Research
