CHILD porn accused Ben McCormack plastered his office desk at A Current Affair with news photos of dead Palestinian children, in an outrageous personal protest to provoke his then colleague, Caroline Marcus.
The senior reporter, charged this week by NSW Police for allegedly sending explicit child porn and discussing sex acts on children, was issued with a formal warning by Nine’s head of news Darren Wick over the workplace incident, News Corp can reveal.
McCormack had been involved in an ongoing and heated exchange with Marcus, over her weekly columns for Queensland’s Sunday Mail, in which she wrote often about her Jewish heritage and family ties to Israel.
The ACA veteran made a series of anti-Israel comments over many weeks attacking the young reporter, as she worked alongside him.
