ABC presenter Patricia Karvelas, nicknamed PK by those that are chummy with her, had Federal Labor MP Ed Husic, Shadow Minister for Digital Economy and Employment Services, on her program supposedly talking on the topic ‘Risks have been identified’: Govt announces AI expert group.
Anybody tuned to the way Karvelas operates could have predicted that she would steer Husic on top the issue of the Israel-Gaza war.
The description of the broadcast segment mentioned nothing about Husic discussing the war but Karvelas being an unsubtle anti-Israel activist was bound to give Husic plenty of airtime – almosty half the segment – denigrating what Israel is doing trying to eradicate Hamas.
At the very end of her prompting of Husic’s demeaning words about Israel she pulled a swifty by suddenly asking Husic what he thinks of Taylor Swift.
She shifted her interview with Husic from the sublime to the ridiculous.
Karvelas has proven herself to be a typical anti-Israel hack given anyone who will criticise Israel a free run whilst persistently interrupting anyone who is in any way supportive of Israel.
This wouldn’t be so bad except that Australian taxpayers are paying the ABC to enable Karvelas to dish out her biased tripe day after day after day.
