THE HORRORS of the holocaust are hard to imagine from the serenity of Bondi Beach — yet a new movement has used its sands to create a powerful image to mark the atrocity.
Descendants of holocaust survivors lay on the iconic beach to create the numbers which were tattooed on an Auschwitz prisoner’s arm.
It is all part of a new social media campaign called RememberTheYom — created to honour Yom HaShoah or Holocaust Remembrance Day and to inspire others to create and to view meaningful related images.
