Casino magnate James Packer is to be interviewed by Israeli police within days over gifts he gave to the country’s prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, according to reports in the media.
Israeli media claims Mr Packer has agreed to co-operate with the investigation and is one of two people to be interviewed before a probe into Mr Netanyahu can wrap up.
The probe, known as “Case 1000”, takes in hundreds of thousands of dollars in gifts Mr Packer and his Hollywood producer business partner, Arnon Milchan, gave to the Netanyahu family.
