Israel has fired missiles at a Syrian military facility north-west of Damascus, according to a Syrian military source and a war monitor.
The Syrian Observatory of Human Rights says the missiles were fired from warplanes believed to be Israeli at targets that included a scientific research centre, near Jamrya on the outskirts of the Syrian capital.
The military source said Syrian air defence systems intercepted three of the missiles.
