The Jewish community says it’s revolted by a photo showing an Australian military vehicle flying a Nazi swastika flag.
The ABC’s Investigations Unit has obtained the photograph, which was taken in Afghanistan in 2007.
Defence has described it as ‘abhorrent’ and says immediate action was taken to remove the flag.
The photos emerged as the actions of Australia’s special forces in Afghanistan come under unprecedented scrutiny.
