Israeli Military Says Cultural Center Blasted by Airstrikes Was a Hamas HQ

Israel said its armed forces attacked a building that housed a cultural center in the Rimal neighborhood of the Gaza Strip on Thursday, August 8, in retaliation for a rocket launched at Beersheeba. As many as 18 people were injured in airstrikes on the Said Mishal Foundation for Culture and Science, which Israeli officials said was used by Hamas’ interior security unit.
