The US will impose a raft of new sanctions against Iran, targeting entities that support the recruitment and training of child soldiers.
The announcement comes just weeks before the US will reimpose sanctions on Iran’s lucrative oil sector, a move that may be disrupted by tension over Saudi Arabia’s possible involvement in the death of prominent journalist and Washington Post columnist Jamal Khashoggi.
