New US sanctions against Iran to target recruitment of child soldiers

The announcement comes just weeks before the US will reimpose sanctions on Iran’s lucrative oil sector, a move that may be disrupted by tension over Saudi Arabia’s possible involvement in the death of prominent journalist and Washington Post columnist Jamal Khashoggi.
