US Democratic congresswoman Rashida Tlaib and fellow Muslim Ilhan Omar have been denied entry to Jerusalem and the Israeli-occupied West Bank because they support the so-called BDS -boycott movement for Palestinian rights.
But in what’s being seen as an unprecedented intervention, the decision to block their entry came at the request of US President Donald Trump.
