Malka Leifer defence lawyers argue against extradition

Defence lawyers for alleged paedophile principal Malka Leifer have told an Israeli court that she should not be extradited because her alleged victims may have consented to some of the abuse.

After years of delays, the former principal of Melbourne’s Adass Israel girls school appeared in court for a hearing on whether she should be returned to Australia to face 74 charges of sexual abuse against three former students.
