A vile Nazi ‘joke’ made by Greens candidate for Miller Patsy O’Brien has been exposed by Steven Wardill, among other gems from the politial week that was in Queensland.
From a Greens candidates private chat group this week came the following comment posted by Greens candidate for Miller Patsy O’Brien:
“I want to make T-shirts with this quote ‘A woman in the f***ing Liberal Party is like a Jew in the Nazi Party.”
Oh dear.
IT’S the battle of the beefcakes in the tropic north seat of Hinchinbrook which will be one of the most hotly contested electorates in Queensland on October 31.
The seat is shaping up as an arm wrestle between Katters’ Australian Party incumbent Nick Dametto and the LNP’s new-kid-on-the-block Scott Piper.
Dametto certainly hasn’t proven the retiring type when it comes to flashing the flesh during his first term as an MP, posting selfies in the Parliament House gym whenever the mood struck.
All politicians are posers, it’s just that some can pull it off better than others.
However, Dametto, who courted controversy by repeatedly charging taxpayers while staying at his Mum’s place in Ingham, faces a tough fight to retain the seat which stretches north from Townsville’s northern beaches.
