Kiwis cast the vote of shame in UN’s sickening West Bank resolution

YOU know you’re in trouble when you hop into bed with Senegal. That’s the shameful truth about our cousins in New Zealand, who last week disgraced themselves as a nation and as a friend.

Whether through sheer ­idiocy, breathtaking arrogance or cringing moral vanity, the New Zealand government of Bill English deserves our condemnation for initiating, along with Senegal, Malaysia and Venezuela, a Security Council resolution that is nothing more than a Jew-hater’s wet dream.

Last week on this page I outlined what a joke the UN has become thanks to its repulsive obsession with attacking Israel at every possible opportunity while ignoring the vile atrocities that daily occur across the Muslim world, from the bloody horrors of Syria to the barbaric abuses in places like Saudi Arabia and Iran. But no sooner was the ink dry on that article than the UN Security Council sank to even greater depths when a dozen nations, at the behest of the dying Obama administration, voted for this grotesque New Zealand/Senegal-sponsored resolution. A resolution that can only lead to more bloodshed and terrorism and encourage anti-Jewish campaigns like BDS.

At least the Senegalese have an excuse, as their spokesman Seydou Gueye proudly ­boasted: “Senegal’s position must be saluted. The international community hails Senegal’s stance, especially the Muslim nations.”
