The July 2014 Gaza War killed over 2,000 Palestinians and 70 Israelis. In the two years since, an uneasy truce has largely held between the Israeli Defence Force and the militant Hamas group, which runs the strip. But recently discovered tunnels built by Hamas, running from the besieged territory to inside Israel, have fuelled fears that preparations for another war have begun.
