Foreign Minister Julie Bishop has begun a two-day visit to Israel and the Palestinian territories.
Her trip comes in the middle of an international aid scandal.
The Turnbull government has suspended all dealings with World Vision in Gaza after Israeli authorities charged one of the NGO’s managers with giving millions of dollars to the terrorist organization Hamas.
But World Vision says they have serious concerns about the secret court process of their employee Mohammed Halaby and whether he will receive a fair trial.
