An urgent appeal has been launched by the JNF to raise funds to cover the cost of fighting widespread fires which are enveloping areas across Israel.
JNF CEO Dan Springer wrote to supporters: “For the past three days, KKL-JNF fire trucks, firefighters and volunteers have been battling the fires that have erupted all over Israel, which have already destroyed thousands of acres of forests and posing a great threat to people and property.
