The Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu has arrived in Australia this morning. He’s the first serving leader of Israel to visit Australia.
The Federal Government says the trip shows the depth of the friendship between the two nations. Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull is using the visit to issue a strong rebuke to the United Nations, for adopting what he says are ‘one sided’ resolutions against Israel.
His intervention comes as tensions deepen with Labor over Israel.
