A PERTH based Imam was recently praised by the media as the face of moderate Islam. Imam Feizel Chothia managed to team up with an Anglican Priest to organise multifaith peace events and share a place of worship.
But a close look at his facebook profile shows that he preaches antisemitism and hate towards the Western world and Jewish people. His views are influenced by the combination of his religious theology and conspiracy theories. While Imam Feizel Chothia may not be a preacher of violence, the fact that he holds the same views as Al-Qaeda about the way the world is run is hugely problematic.
