It’s no secret that the ASX has been trying to attract Israeli technology companies to list on the Aussie market. When Bibi was here last month, he had lunch with the PM and a bunch of target companies, including tech company Mobilicom.
And why wouldn’t the ASX try to get as many of these companies, many of whom have global ambitions, to come on board?
So it’s a bit of a coup that the ASX has wooed Mobilicom to list here: after all, it’s already profitable, has rich backers and a clever technology that uses multiple linked drones to create airborne mobile networks. Take that, Singapore Stock Exchange!
Mobilicom was scheduled to list on the ASX next Friday, May 5. It’s not unusual for the listing date to get pushed back a few weeks as the ASX sorts out the paperwork – no big deal.
