Fashion house, Miu Miu has removed a number of pieces from their pre-autumn/winter 2017 collection, after comparisons were drawn between their star motifs and the Star of David patches that Jews were forced to wear during the Holocaust.
The comparison was first made by Facebook page Jewish Chick, who shared a picture of the design, calling her fans to reply with their “thoughts on the yellow star?”
Miu Miu swiftly released an apology in an official statement, explaining that they would be removing the ‘offending items’ immediately.
