The Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull will meet with the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu today and attend commemorations to mark 100 years since the Battle for Beersheba.
His trip was delayed by a day and a half due to Friday’s High Court decision on Deputy Prime Minister Barnaby Joyce.
The Opposition leader Bill Shorten, who’ll also attend that service, is already in Jerusalem, where a push within Labor for the recognition of Palestine has not passed unnoticed.
