Singer Lorde has ruffled feathers over the latest dates in her Melodrama World Tour, by adding Tel Aviv in military occupied Israel.
Fans criticised the Royal songstress over her choice to perform in the oppressed country, with many taking to social media to express their “disappointment” in the 21-year-old.
“Don’t play in Tel Aviv while they have the Palestinians under a brutal occupation!,” one user wrote on Twitter. “Very disappointed in you! Boycott Israel!”
One user even started their own hashtag, calling for the pop star not to go ahead with the tour date.
