Philanthropist Aron Kleinlehrer charged with indecent assault

A MAJOR Sydney philanthropist who was awarded an Order of Australia Medal this year has been charged for allegedly indecently assaulting two women.

Aron Kleinlehrer, 96, is accused of assaulting the women, aged 21 and 32, at his home in Village High Rd, Vaucluse between April and December 2017.

Kleinlehrer is well-known in Sydney eastern suburbs for his large donations to Randwick’s Emanuel School, a Jewish coeducational day school where a number of buildings are named in his honour.
