Senior clergy in Indonesia are calling on Israel to review a ban on Indonesian tourists, so pilgrims can visit the Holy Land.
Indonesia has been rejecting visas for Israelis since the Gaza-Israel border riots, that led to Indonesians protesting what they consider as Israel’s harsh treatment of the Palestinians.
On June 1st, Indonesia’s Minister of Justice and Human Rights confirmed that immigration authorities had refused visas for 53 Israelis.
