Conflicts in the Middle East have become a tragically frequent part of the news cycle. But what will happen to the politics of the region as fresh water becomes increasingly rare.

Gidon Bromberg is the co-founder and co-director of Ecopeace Middle East. He believes that water scarcity is likely to act as a threat multiplier, but also says that if it were to be handled well, then it could be the source of a lasting peace.
