The Holocaust was uniquely evil event in the history of the world: the mass murder, using industrial methods, of millions of men, women and children, the attempt to exterminate an entire people. It was a crime that we are told to never forget and an act that was not only barbaric, but seemingly without reason and somehow beyond understanding.
Rochy Miller is a retired medical doctor; originally from South Africa, Brisbane has been her home for more than a decade. Rochy is also the daughter of someone who lived through the horrors of the Holocaust and she’s recently written about her mother’s story in a book called ‘Not Just a Survivor’.
