Blum to make AICC flower

THE NSW branch of the Australia-Israel Chamber of Commerce (AICC) will have a new chief executive officer from September 5, two years since current CEO Charles Nightingale was appointed.

Michelle Blum will replace Nightingale, who will step into the new role of chief customer officer.

NSW chair Jillian Segal said Blum’s appointment will steer the AICC “into new and exciting territory that will benefit our members and wider network … with the chamber’s trade missions [to Israel] a key focus area”.

Blum, formerly the general manager for national operations at the Australian Institute of Management, has held senior roles in the education, financial services and not-for-profit sectors.
