The Victorian Minister for Small Business, Innovation and Trade, Philip Dalidakis, is set to lead the first ministerial trade mission to Israel focused on cyber security as the state looks to bolster its reputation as the premier information security hub in the Asia-Pacific region.
The data and cyber security trade mission, developed in conjunction with the Australia-Israel Chamber of Commerce, will see Mr Dalidakis lead a delegation of Victorian companies and representatives from national organisations to attend Israel’s 4th International Conference on Homeland Security and Cyber.

He said the mission was the latest step in the state government’s aspiration to put Victoria on the global map when it comes to cybersecurity.
