One hundred years ago today, Australian Light Horsemen staged one of the last great cavalry charges in history taking the Turkish held town of Beersheba and its precious water wells.
The Battle for Beersheba is remembered not just as a daring military victory, but for the incredible bravery of 800 young ANZACS on horseback that changed the course of World War One.
